well .. i'm not actually a fan of  the bangles coz i think they r not on par wif the other rock chick band ... the go-gos ... the reason is simple ... the go-gos write better songs ... nevertheless ... the bangles had 3 hit singles in the 80s, none bigger than that luv anthem "eternal flame".. ..

now i dun really think this number is their best song coz... there's alwayz "manic monday" n "walk like an egyptian" 2 contend wif ... but the reason why this song still stuck in my mind after all these yearz is ...ahahahaha ..damn ... well ...that was way back in the late 80s when me n my buddies went 2 manila <the philippines> 4 a short vacation ... needless 2 say ..went 2 the local strip joint 2 enjoy a show... n guess what .. those bar gals dancing n stripping off ...2 that bangles's tune ...now u tell me ..how could i forget that song after having those bon-bons shaking n thrusting just inches away from my nose? so ..to this day ... the song remains one of my fav luv songs ... :P

well, louis was actually a trumpeteer b4 he was asked 2 perform, not only wif his trumpet but also wif his voice ... n he did in fact perform one of my fav luv songs but it is not "what a wonderful world", which is  a fine song ...

however, the song i luv very much is"fantastic, that's you" .. which is a slow jazz number ... punctuated by louis' trumpet solo ... the reason i luv this song is bcoz the way louis performed it ...slow n s3xy ....n the trumpet solo is fabulous ...
